Zombie Chipmunk

That's what zombies say. At least, that's what I assume zombies say. Some people accuse me of having an "unnatural" love for zombie animals. To those people, I say: Touché. Although I don't truly consider it "unnatural" or "unhealthy", I do try to explain to people exactly why I do love drawing cute, cuddly animals in a state of undeath. It's quite simple, really..

Have you ever had something sweet and salty, like pretzels and ice cream? If you ever have, you'll have a better understanding of why I like drawing zombie animals so much. I love things that are total opposites; I love juxtaposing cute with horror. Somehow, it takes the sting out of the horror, and the sickly-sweet from the cute, and redefines the term "disgustingly cute".

It all started with the Chipmunk that you see at the top of the page there. After drawing it, I was fascinated with my macabre creation. It wasn't long before the horror waned from my friends' faces and they began requesting their own zombie animals. I've had requests for everything from simple zombie cats to zombie staplers (although admittedly, the stapler was suggested in order to stump me). I haven't yet gotten to every one that has been requested, but they are constantly in the back of my mind, churning away until they demand to be released (or they eat my brains out of boredom. Zombies are like that). Thusfar, I've created zombies out of the following:

All of the above can be viewed on my art page. If you have any requests or suggestions for zombie animals, please feel free to email me at any point. I'd love to hear from you!
