Don't let Hannah fool you. The unicorn is a lie.

Hello! My name is Hannah, welcome to the personal extension of my website.

I've been a resident of Keene, New Hampshire since I was 4 years old (except for a short time when I lived in Missouri). I was raised by wonderful, loving parents who gave me the freedom to experiment with different types of artwork at will. When I was 15 years old I somehow convinced my mother to allow me to paint over the hideous black and white wallpaper in my bedroom, and over the course of 3-or-so years I created a room-wide mural.

Currently I am in my last semester at Keene State College. I am majoring in Communications with a concentration in Philosophy. What this means is that although I can have lengthy discussions about Sartre, Heidegger and Kant, I won't have a blessed clue (if you asked me) what the "Standpoint Theory" is.

When I decided to go to college, I focused on learning something that I had interest in (philosophy) rather than something that I knew I was already good at (art). As a result, I feel like I have honed my knowledge on a very interesting subject, but have failed to hone my artistic skills in the way that I wish I had. However, I did have plenty of practice sketching in my years at Keene State College, as doodling in my notebook kept me awake much of the time for certain classes (I won't be naming which!).

In the years following college, I hope to make up for some lost time in creating more art in manners that I had previously been ignoring. I love painting, and I have dabbled in lampworking, pottery, batiking and sculpting. All of these are of great interest to me and I hope to make some beautiful work using several different techniques. If you have any wish to talk to me about philosophy, art, or have any questions or suggestions for me, please feel free to email me.
